Product Manager, Content Management System (CMS)

As the owner of our Americas web presence, you will be working with both business stakeholders and IT to deliver a best-in-class online experience. You will be working in a fast-paced international environment on a modern and well-designed digital product that reaches millions of users across the globe.

We are in the process of recreating our divisional (Americas) and brand sites to become customer-centric hubs for our business. Under the hood, our websites will run on Adobe Experience Manager.


What you will be doing


You are here to make sure that our websites deliver value to the organization.

You will actively manage the requirements from all our businesses in the Americas, refining and prioritizing development activities. Working closely with our IT team and developers, you will make sure backlog, development, UX, security, compliance, performance, testing and operations are all on track and everyone knows what to focus on. You will organize exploratory sprints or workshops to explore new requirements with smaller groups when needed.


Understanding our visitors is critical to our success so you will spend time reviewing user experience and website architecture together with experts to make sure that our sites remain secure, well maintained and easy to use. With your intricate knowledge about our sites, you will also decide when it is time to prioritize housekeeping activities over new development to avoid building up technical debt. 

You will discuss ideas for new functionality and will communicate the development roadmap and upcoming changes to both regional and brand web managers, editors and other stakeholders. You will also actively participate in the global Future Web workstream for the ASSA ABLOY Group (, ensuring there's alignment and full transparency.


What we are looking for


This senior role requires several years of experience from a similar role in a global environment. You must be able to balance a steady stream of incoming feature requests against ongoing development and keep all stakeholders informed about both tactical and strategic priorities.


You know everything about managing change using tools like Jira and Service Now in an enterprise context.

The role is based in New Haven, Connecticut. You will be a part of the ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas team and will report directly to the Director of Branding and Communications.
