Your Opportunity:

As an Aftersales Services and Engineering Manager based in Olney UK, you will have the chance of leading a rapidly growing team of Installation and Service Engineers, Schedulers, Sales Executives and Software Renewal team. The team are responsible for all aspects of the Aftersales experience to our customer base from the initial Installation through to support and maintenance.

As a successful Aftersales Services and Engineering Manager, your main mission will be to drive growth and have focused leadership into establishing efficiencies and automation across all areas of Aftersales Team, ensuring our customers are at the front on all decision making and receive exceptional levels of service, whilst maintaining growth margins. 

You will:

  • Be responsible for the management of the Aftersales Team, consisting of All UK & Ireland Installation and Service Engineers, Schedulers, Sales Executives and Software Renewals globally.  

  • Be responsible for developing, identifying and increasing the maintenance revenue within the UK and Ireland market, in line with the current offerings and the projected business growth.

  • Be responsible in driving improvements and increasing efficiencies and consistency with in the engineering team.

  • Be responsible for all New and Renewal Software licensing process globally, whilst developing/implementing ways to drive automation.  

  • Be responsible for Technical Support Escalations for internal and external clients.

  • Be responsible for all Major Service Contracts from a commercial perspective and process support internally.   

  • Lead and develop the competence within your teams to fit the company's long-term strategy and develop solutions to design challenges with constraints on cost, quality and performance.

  • Represent the Aftersales area of the business on the Senior Management Board.

  • Report directly to the UK Sales Director.

Who You Are:

You will have strong drive for results and the determination to deliver according to plan. Along with, excellent communication skills where you can be very clear in what you want but also able to interact on different levels of the organization.  You will have had previous experience in management of Aftersales Services and target driven role.

You will have an inquisitive mind and keen eye for detail and will strive for world class performance, promoting innovation and teamwork.

Experience:

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Products (Project, Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)

  • Experience in implementing change and development of processes to increase efficiencies.

  • Experience of managing an Aftersales Services Team.

  • Technical experience of a hardware & software based business.

  • Experience in achieving against sales targets.

  • Experience in new and renewal based sales processes.

Special competencies:

  • You need to have worked in a similar position before and have a track record with strong leadership capabilities (5 years).

  • You will have managed an Aftersales Service departments focusing on electromechanical and software based solutions.

  • You will be educated to degree or equivalent level, preferably within business/business management
