What you will be doing:

The Global VP Key Accounts will actively build relationships, manage and develop business from a portfolio of large account clients while also working with Regional Presidents on certain large or high profile projects in their territory. Will launch and present new technology such as Cloud Services, Mobile Access, Location Based Services or other integrated services and solutions to Key Accounts in the region. To be successful in this position you will need to be aggressive in developing relationships with certain companies that primarily use our competitors and turn them into loyal ASSA ABLOY Hospitality customers.


You will build, maintain and strengthen relationships of global client accounts, interact with all levels ranging from individual contributor levels up to C-level executives. You will also meet with clients in person and advise them of opportunities, market information, new territories and new products to help strengthen and grow their business.

  • Conduct presentations to educate customers on our products and how we can serve them better than our competitors.

  • Meet individual sales targets as well as help territory sales representatives and the Hospitality market segment sales targets.

  • Manage internal resources that contribute to customer projects along with moderately complex technical aspects with assigned customers.

  • Provide product requirements and priorities to Regional Presidents based on competitive analysis, win/ loss information, market research, industry-specific requirements and new trends.

  • Participate in forecasting and tracking, sales presentation development, account reviews, and product planning, competitor insight, market expertise and ad hoc research

  • Create quotes and mange customer relationship via our internal CRM system.

  • Provide on a regular basis Key Accounts activities reports

  • Supporting global Key Account activities when needed.

Education & Experience:

  • University Degree or MBA (preferred)

  • Minimum 7 - 10 years' experience with technology sales specifically selling IT solutions

  • High level understanding of technical IT based products

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven track record of building successful client relationships.

  • Prior experience working/building relationships with clients ranging from C-level to front managers

  • Strong analytical skills. Willing to extensive travel and visit client sites.

  • Previous experience in hotel industry is very important.

  • Key Account Sales for a company providing Software, POS, PMS, or other hospitality focused products or services to the hotel industry is important

  • Existing relationships and experience working with large hotel ownership groups or developers important

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and CRM system.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken, fluent in French would be an asset. The position is preferable based in Stockholm, but other EMEA locations could be considered.International travel is required. You will be report to the Global President Hospitality.
