Marketing Coordinator

US Mechanical Residential Group, an ASSA ABLOY company, is a market leader providing decorative door, cabinet and bath hardware to the residential market through an extensive North American dealer network. We're looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator to join our California-based team.


Excellent opportunity for a marketing coordinator with a keen eye for detail, strong multi-tasking and organizational skills, and exceptional project management skills to join our dynamic, highly creative marketing team. You will work both collaboratively in a team environment and demonstrate initiative in completing independent projects. The ideal candidate also has experience with media relations, current home trends, creating reports and presentations, copywriting, and social media best practices.  


What you will be doing

The Marketing Coordinator will assist in a wide range of marketing activities across both traditional and digital channels, especially social media. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to execute marketing and advertising campaigns including production of collateral for the sales team, our business-to-business network of dealers and end-users. You will work with our marketing team to help create and maintain key performance indicators, track ROI, and be the go-to expert on data analytics.  


Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will be based in our City of Industry, CA office. 


Essential responsibilities include:


• Track, collect and organize deliverables from social media and trade-out partnerships; analyze current and competitive email marketing campaigns; recommend changes for improvement; assemble cross-audience (B2B and B2C) email content; create and maintain customer email database. 

• Work with graphic design team to deliver content that meets product launch and tradeshow deadlines; coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects (including digital and print advertising campaigns and e-Blasts, trade show collateral, promotions, copywriting, etc.).  

• Coordinate cross-functional team efforts and assist team members by researching vendors and market trends; help manage incoming inquiries via phone, social media, email, and website. 

• Coordinate product display activities to help maximize our program.  

• Research and present trend reports and competitive research to the sales, sourcing and marketing teams.


Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or related field; one to three years of related marketing experience. 

• Excellent customer relationship skills; proven ability to handle and resolve customer issues with an upbeat attitude; demonstrated ability to build relationships internally and externally.  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to proof own work.  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment 

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required; Salesforce and/or Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred; experience with Photoshop or Illustrator a strong plus.
