Supplier Development Manager

In the endeavor of becoming the leader in our industry within Supply Chain, we are consistently working on becoming even more efficient than we are today. As Supplier Development Manager, it will be your mission to ensure that this development is driven forward across the entire division, making you a key player within our core team.
What you will be doing 
This position is located at Entrance Systems headquarter and you will be a part of the divisional Supply Chain Management team.
The management team consists today of six people, both men and women, within charge of the development of direct material, category management, indirect material,  VA/VE and supplier development & quality. 
In this role, you will be leading the Supplier Quality Engineers/Supplier Development Engineers in our business areas around the globe in a matrix organization.
You will be responsible for developing and improving various Quality Tools and Methodologies. 
You also organize the training and development of the Sourcing and Supplier Quality functions in areas related to both Supplier Quality and Supplier Development. You will oversee and be in charge of the supplier audit processes, reporting and the results in terms of Quality and Sustainability. Sometimes, this also requires you to support the audit of suppliers in order to ensure that local auditors are at the right level and is following the audit process in a correct way. This role will also include participating in supplier selection processes and technical reviews across business and divisional areas. At the same time, you will be representing the Division in the ASSA ABLOY Group Global Supplier Quality Council, exploring opportunities together with the other divisions. 
Travelling to our various locations and suppliers abroad can be expected once or twice per month.

You need to be detail and process oriented, with excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills.  The challenges and opportunities are many within ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, so you must enjoy a fast moving versatile environment. With this being a global role and English being our corporate language, you are required to be able to speak, read and write freely on a proficient level. 
We also believe that you have experience within implementing Supplier Development Processes from a leading role in a global environment. Having worked with a variety of improvement methods such as six sigma or TQM is considered to be a huge merit.
Furthermore, we think it is important that you also have experience from a mechanical production industry and is well oriented within various Quality Management System Tools.
