DC700G-FM - Free-Motion® Door Closer

Application

ASSA ABLOY Free-Motion® door closer with Cam-Motion® technology and free-swing function. The unique and proven Free-Motion® feature, allows a door to swing freely from any pre-determined position to its closed position, without any opening resistance or damping. The initial door opening is easy and comfortable thanks to the rapidly decreasing opening force of Cam-Motion® technology, and starts from a minimum of 0° opening angle. The Free-Motion® door closer is particularly beneficial in applications where improved accessibility is required or as the DC700G-FM can be deactivated by switching off the power supply it may be used in applications where doors must close remotely.

• Free Swing function starts from 0° to give easy opening doors, as if no closer fitted
• Links to 24V DC mains power and fire alarm to give fire protection as loss of power ensures unti reverts to mechanical closer to shut the door
• 14mm height adjustable arm system for ease of installation and to suit different frame details
• Suitable for use on fire doors
• Can be installed on doors up to 1400mm wide
• Can be installed on doors up to 120kg
• Suitable for installation to door, frame or double doors (specify when ordering)
• Supplied with junction box and door loop
• Same door position as mechanical DC700 so an easy upgrade option and standard door prep details
• Max opening angle is 170°

Finish

•  Standard colours: silver EV1, white similar to RAL9016, stainless steel design
• Customised finishes available on request
